{"id":18116,"date":"2026-04-01T13:00:04","date_gmt":"2026-04-01T12:00:04","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/education-today.co.uk\/?p=18116"},"modified":"2026-04-01T13:35:10","modified_gmt":"2026-04-01T12:35:10","slug":"premier-league-primary-stars-champions-inclusion-with-active-allies-resource","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/education-today.co.uk\/premier-league-primary-stars-champions-inclusion-with-active-allies-resource\/","title":{"rendered":"Premier League Primary Stars champions inclusion with new resource"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>With pupil wellbeing and belonging under real pressure in UK schools, simple tools that help build positive relationships are more valuable than ever.<\/p>\n<p>Recent DfE data highlights ongoing concerns around pupils\u2019 sense of safety, enjoyment and belonging at school, and also reveals that many children continue to face online harm and bullying, reinforcing the need for proactive, school\u2011led support for kindness and inclusion.<\/p>\n<p>Premier League Primary Stars is championing kindness, allyship and inclusion with their Active Allies resource plus, teachers who download the free resource before 8 May will receive:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>10 free Active Allies wristbands to recognise pupils who demonstrate allyship in action<\/li>\n<li>A teacher guide to support inclusive conversations and reflection in class<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The free downloadable Active Allies resource helps pupils explore:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>What allyship looks like in school, from including others in play to supporting classmates.<\/li>\n<li>How kindness builds community, encouraging pupils to reflect on their impact on peers.<\/li>\n<li>How to recognise allyship in others, building empathy and noticing positive behaviour.<\/li>\n<li>Simple strategies for being an ally, including practical approaches pupils can use during lessons, play times and group work.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The resource includes discussion prompts, short activities and scenarios designed for flexible use, whether in PSHE, assemblies or pastoral sessions.<\/p>\n<p>The Active Allies wristbands give teachers a tangible tool to celebrate positive behaviour and reinforce inclusion. Used alongside the classroom resource, they help pupils:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Develop empathy and social awareness<\/li>\n<li>Build stronger relationships<\/li>\n<li>Understand the importance of standing up for others<\/li>\n<li>Contribute to a welcoming, supportive school environment.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Wristbands are limited to the first 300 teachers to download the resource.<\/p>\n<p>The initiative aligns with Premier League Primary Stars\u2019 mission to support children\u2019s personal development through curriculum\u2011linked learning and the positive influence of sport.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>With pupil wellbeing and belonging under real pressure in UK schools, simple tools that help build positive relationships are more valuable than ever.
