EdShed, creators of Phonics Shed, Spelling Shed and MathShed, has launched a preview of its new teacher hub, which is designed to streamline classroom practice and give educators clearer, more actionable insight into pupil progress.<\/p>\n
The redesign begins with Spelling Shed, which now provides a cleaner, more intuitive interface to help teachers access what they need with fewer clicks. Assignments, leagues, challenges and Hive games are now visible at a glance, while simplified navigation, clearer scheme pages and more accessible resources support faster planning and greater consistency across year groups.<\/p>\n
A major development is the new data experience. Teachers can now monitor attainment and progress through four dedicated views (Overview, Competency Tracker, History and Mastery Zone), each offering a different perspective on pupil understanding. A colour-coded system highlights strengths and gaps instantly, while interactive charts and downloadable tables allow staff to drill down into specific needs and tailor support more effectively.<\/p>\n

The update has been shaped by early input from Spelling Shed Showcase Schools and Feedback Schools, ensuring the new design reflects real classroom priorities.
