Through scenario-based discussions, children will learn essential concepts like online kindness, safe sharing, and recognising trusted adults.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft size-medium wp-image-16206\" src=\"https:\/\/education-today.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/digiex-300x167.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"167\" srcset=\"https:\/\/education-today.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/digiex-300x167.jpg 300w, https:\/\/education-today.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/digiex-150x84.jpg 150w, https:\/\/education-today.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/digiex.jpg 477w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/>The game introduces primary aged children (7-11yr olds) to the basics of online safety in a fun and interactive way. Four to six players compete to make their way across the game board, in an online safety quest. Along the way, players respond to various situations described on the games\u2019 \u2018Online Safety Scenario\u2019 cards, and are reminded about ways to stay safe by reading out the game\u2019s \u2018Online Safety Pledge\u2019 cards.<\/p>\n<p>Scenarios highlight situations children may well face in their real, every day, digital lives, for example, <em>\u2018While playing a game someone asks you for your real name. What is the safe thing to do?\u2019<\/em>.
